FROM DRAWING COVER ARTS AND PORTRAITS TO BECOMING A PRODUCT DESIGNER
BACKGROUND
My name is Emmanuel Asibe. As an Engineering undergraduate back in Uni, I was always curious about many things, but more curious about how stuffs were made. I often wondered how the interfaces that allow humans to interact with computers are created, and how something is practically built from a thought process to the finished product.
That artistic mind I had was always curious to try and be the maker first. So I did. Turns out it's been six years of making illustrations, drawing portraits and cover art for people, making fire 3D designs, and designing from the ground up in fintech, health, and social experiences across frontier marketplaces. I've collaborated with some top design agencies such as Renderologists, Check DC, Malkain and HY Motion.
In wide and tiny ways, being openly curious and thoughtful about design, especially in tech, is changing my life and millions of other people's, and also shaping experiences. All the things I've been curious about, I've been doing them in detail and creatively with quirkiness.
